Tagliatelle are a typical egg pasta from central and northern Italy. Their name derives from the verb "to cut" or "to slice".
One of the best ways to prepare them is also one of the simplest.
Roasting cherry tomatoes brings out their natural sweetness and gives you a nice sauce mix that you can use to add summer flavor to all kinds of dishes.
Ingredients:
- Tagliatelle (400gr)
- Cherry tomatoes (300gr)
-Onion (half)
-3 basil leaves
-Extra virgin olive oil
-Salt to taste
-Pepper as needed
Preparation:
- In a pan heat the olive oil with the basil leaves.
- Cut the onion finely and add it to the pan.
- Sauté over low heat.
- Cut the cherry tomatoes into 4 pieces and place them in the pan.
- Stir gently.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and cook (10 minutes)
- In a saucepan put the water and boil it.
-Add salt and then add the spaghetti.
- Drain the noodles and put them in the pot with the sauce created and stir, if necessary use a little cooking water to mix the pasta.
