SPAGHETTI WITH CRISPY PORK CHEEK RECIPE

In this dish the king is the pork cheek. It will give flavor to your plate and will make a perfect couple with spaghetti.

SPAGHETTI WITH CRISPY PORK

Ingredients:

-Spaghetti (400gr)

-Salsa (300 gr)

-Guanciale or smoked bacon (400gr)

-Olive oil to taste

- Basil leaves (4/5)

-Garlic (3 cloves)

- Onion (1/2)

- Chilli pepper (optional)



Preparation:


- In a pan put oil, garlic, chopped onion and basil.


- Warm the oil on low heat.


-When the onion is golden brown, add the sauce and cook over low heat (15 minutes).


-In the meantime, cut the pork ckeek into cubes and cook it on a low heat in a non-stick pan until it becomes crispy and releases its fat.


-When the pork ckeek is ready, pour it into the sauce with all its released fat, mix well and add the chilli.


-In a saucepan put the water and boil it.


-Add salt and then add the spaghetti.


-Pour the drained spaghetti into the sauce, mix and serve.




Advice:


To give even more flavor, you can add the rind.

In this recipe the spaghetti are only "soiled" by the tomato sauce but no one forbids adding more sauce, also you can use any type of pasta.
