SAGE CARROTS RECIPE


It seems that in ancient times the Romans cultivated carrots because they had aphrodisiac properties, so if you are planning a romantic evening this is a dish that must not be missed.



Sage carrots

Ingredients: -Carrots (5) - Sage leaves (4) - Chili pepper (1) - Olive oil - Parsley to taste - Salt to tast - Black pepper  


Preparation: - Cut the carrots into small pieces (about 1 cm) - Cook them in a pan with olive oil and sage. (about 3 minuts) - Add pepper and salt to taste and continue cooking by adding a little cold water at a time. - At the end of cooking and with the heat off, add the chilli pepper and the fresh and chopped parsley. - Stir and serve.
