ROAST BEEF WITH CELERY AND ONIONS RECIPE



Tasty and delicate recipe. Tender meat, decide whether to cut it into thick or thin slices to fill wonderful sandwiches or eating it as main dish.




Ingredients:

- Beef (400/500 gr cut)

- Celery (1 strain)

- Onions (2)

- Flour (1 tbsp)

- Rosemary to taste

- Black pepper to taste




Preparation:


- Clean and cut celery and onion into small pieces.


- Put oil, celery and onion in a baking dish.


- Place the piece of beef in the baking dish, sprinkle with rosemary and cover it well in the oil.


- Add two glasses of cold water and cover with a lid or aluminum foil.


- Put the pan in the oven preheated to 170/180 degrees (40-45 minutes)


- Remove the beef from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes.


- In the meantime, add a teaspoon of flour in the residual liquid of the roast, mix well and put the pan on the stove and boil (2 minuts)


- Meanwhile, cut the beef into slices and place it in the baking dish.


- Sprinkle it with the sauce created and serve.


Advice:

Check if the pan you used for the oven can also be used on the flame, otherwise change the pan for final cooking.
