Introduction:
Polenta is a traditional Italian dish, widespread especially in the Northern region, appreciated by mountain people from all over the peninsula. Of ancient origins, mainly the flour is made from corn, with a typical yellow color. It can also be prepared with spelled or rye flour. It is prepared in many variations and can be accompanied with meats, sauces, cheeses and mushrooms.
Ingredients:
- Sausages (4)
- Corn flour (400 gr)
- Water q.s.
- Salt q.s.
Preparation:
- Put 2 liters of water in a thick-bottomed steel pot.
- When the water starts to boil, add the salt, the flour and start mixing quickly (to avoid lumps) with a wooden ladle over high heat.
- Almost at the end of cooking, start grilling the sausages.
- Continue stirring the polenta until cooked.

Use the sauce created by cooking the sausage to add flavor to the polenta.
Serve and eat preferably with a glass of italian red wine.
