- In a bowl we put the bread with a glass of water to make it soak.
- In another bowl we put the minced meat, the chopped parsley, the grated cheese, the minced garlic, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
- Take the bread, squeeze it to remove the excess water and add it to the minced meat.
- We mix very very well and form balls.
- In a saucepan, heat the oil and when it reaches temperature we begin to fry the meatballs.
- Once ready, we help ourselves with a laundry ladle (called "skimmer") to remove them from the oil and lay them on absorbent paper for fried food.
- Salt the meatballs only when serving them.
Advices:
Any type of meat is suitable for the preparation of this recipe. You can also use already cooked meat (prepared for another dish) by mincing it finely.
To make the meatballs more tasty, before frying them, pass them in the breadcrumbs.
