FRIED CARROTS AND LEEKS RECIPE



A simple dish that brings joy to watch it.

Its color reminds us of the August sun which goes from yellow to orange, drawing a sunset.





Ingredients:

-Carrots (7/8)

-Leeks (2)

-Olive oil to taste

-Butter (1 knob)

-Salt to taste

-Pepper to taste






Preparation:


- In a pan put the oil and butter to heat.


- Melted the butter, put the carrots clean, peeled and sliced.


- Add salt and pepper.


- Cook over low heat (7/8 minutes)


- Add the sliced leeks.


- Stir and cook for another 5 minutes.


-If necessary add water.



Advices:

This recipe can be enjoyed both hot and cold so it can be prepared in advance.

The cooking time of this dish can vary according to personal taste and to have more crunchy or soft carrots.
