CHICKEN AND PEAS BOCCONCINI RECIPE

Chicken is the most versatile meat, it can be cooked in various ways: roasted, grilled, on a spit, fried, baked or boiled. The minced meat can be used to prepare the chicken salad or by mincing it it can be used for meatballs or hamburgers.

So it's up to you to use all your imagination.




Ingredients:

-Chicken (500gr)

-Leek (1)

-White flour to taste

-Olive oil to taste

-Sale to taste

-Pepper as needed

-Curcuma to taste

-Wine white (Half glass)

-Garlic clove (1)

-Peas (500gr)

-Onion (1)

-Tomato sauce (optional)




Preparation:


CHICKEN

- Cut the chicken into small pieces and put them in a bowl.


- Season with 2 tablespoons of flour, oil, salt, pepper and turmeric (let stand for ten minutes)


- Cut the leek and put it in a pan with oil and a clove of garlic.


- Add the chicken, mix well and light the fire.


- Brown everything on a low flame.


- Add half a glass of white wine, let it evaporate and cook over a low flame for about ten minutes.


PEAS

- In a saucepan put some oil and finely chopped onion, making it brown (couple of minutes)


- Add the peas and cook them.


- You can also add some tomato sauce, if you like.




Advices:

If the peas are canned, then pre-cooked, heat for five minutes over a low flame. Otherwise if we use frozen peas we cook for 8/10 minutes
